Larry Feign

Alluminate presents a limited release of original drawings by artist Larry Feign.

Larry Feign is best known for his series The World of Lily Wong, which was featured in several newspapers from 1986 to 2001. The feature offered readers a daily dose of humor and welcome relief from the tense political and social upheavals during a defining period in Hong Kong's history. His satirical and biting commentary on life, politicians and anyone of significance provided a historical, witty and iconic snapshot of the colony prior to its handover to China.

His original drawings, many of which are more than two decades old, are collector's items. They are traditionally hand drawn using high quality ink on archival paper. The quality of each drawing is superb. Fine pencil markings, erasures, corrections and signature by the artist all add to the originality and uniqueness of each drawing.
